Artist & Provenance
rik Magnusson (full name Nils Erik Magnusson, 8 December 1900 – 16 February 1972) was a Swedish painter and graphic artist from Gällivare. He was largely self-taught and made study trips across Iceland, Belgium, France and the Netherlands, exhibiting works in Swedish cities including Luleå, Skellefteå and Östersund. His art mainly comprises portrait studies, landscapes and fjäll-themed scenes reflecting northern Scandinavian motifs.
