Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including your rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015. These rights apply independently of our store policies and provide protections relating to cancellations, returns, refunds, and faulty goods.
Cooling‑Off Period (UK & EU)
If your purchase qualifies as a distance contract, you may have a statutory 14‑day cooling‑off period during which you can cancel your order for any reason. This right begins on the day you receive the goods. You may then have an additional 14 days to return the item after notifying us of cancellation.
Our store policy allows cancellations only prior to dispatch, but statutory cooling‑off rights may still apply depending on your location and the nature of the purchase.
Faulty or Not‑as‑Described Goods
If an item is faulty, damaged, or not as described, you are entitled to remedies under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which may include repair, replacement, or refund. These rights apply regardless of our standard returns policy.
Return Condition Requirements
Under UK consumer law, buyers may be responsible for any diminished value of goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the item. This aligns with our policy requiring items to be returned in their original condition.
Refund Timeframes
Once a valid cancellation or return is processed, refunds must be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods or receiving proof of postage—whichever is sooner. This timeframe is mandated by the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
Exclusions
Certain items may not be eligible for cancellation or return under statutory rules, including:
-
Custom or personalised items
-
Sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons once opened
-
Digital goods once download or access has begun
Sale items and gift cards are excluded from our store’s return policy.
Jurisdiction
This policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from purchases made through our store will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
