Original Swedish Oil on Panel – “Portrait of a Couple” – Attributed to Marianne Nyberg – signed – Vintage & Framed – 60 × 42 cm (23.6" × 16.5") incl. frame
An original figurative painting on panel/board, depicting a portrait of two people against a dark blue‑green background. The composition presents clear facial features with blue eyes and red/orange tones in the hair and clothing. Executed in an expressive, naive/modernist style, the work combines portraiture with decorative abstraction. According to the previous owner, the painting was painted by Marianne Nyberg, but as the piece lacks a clear signature and certificate, it is sold as attributed to Marianne Nyberg. Presented framed, the painting remains in good condition with age‑appropriate wear.
