Philippe de Rougemont

 

Philippe de Rougemont (1891–1965) was a French painter recognized for his portraiture and figurative work. Born in France, he spent much of his career in Stockholm, Sweden, where he became known for painting society figures and dignitaries.

His refined approach to portraiture combined classical technique with a sensitivity to character, establishing him as a notable presence within Sweden’s mid-20th century art scene.
