John Carlson

 

John Emanuel Carlson (1896–1979) was a Swedish painter known for colorful, somewhat naïve landscapes and city scenes, particularly of Sundbyberg near Stockholm. He studied in Stockholm and New York and spent several years in the United States, where he painted landscapes featuring Native Americans before returning to Sweden.
