Ivar Ekelund

Ivar Ekelund (1908–2002) was a Swedish painter and graphic artist born in Stockholm, known for stylized still lifes, landscapes, portraits, woodcuts, and collages. He studied at Signe Barth’s and Isaac Grünewald’s painting schools and at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière in Paris, later exhibiting widely in Sweden and abroad. |
