Artist & Provenance

Bertil Gunnar Wahlberg (1923–1980) was a Swedish painter, cartoonist, and graphic artist. Born in Brännkyrka, Stockholm, and later based in Danderyd, Wahlberg’s work spans figural, landscape, and illustrative styles. His paintings occasionally appear in Scandinavian collections and vintage markets, appreciated for their expressive energy and regional focus.
